It is the policy of Calvac Paving that accident prevention shall be considered of primary importance in all phases of operation and administration.
It is the intention of this company's top management to provide safe and healthy working conditions and to establish and insist upon safe practices at all times by all employees.
The prevention of accidents is an objective affecting all levels of our company and its activities. It is, therefore, a basic requirement that each supervisor make the safety of all employees an integral part of his or her regular management function. It is equally the duty of each employee to accept and follow established safety regulations and procedures.
All employees at Calvac Paving have clearly defined safety duties, responsibilities and standards of performance designed to ensure that the communication of safety awareness is provided at all levels.
There must be free and clear communication between Senior Management, Superintendents, Foremen and Employees so everyone at Calvac Paving understands the importance of running our operations efficiently and safely. Management and employees are equally encouraged to identify and report potential hazards, discuss hazard control/abatement solutions, and take actions to prevent accidents or further loss.
The success of the Calvac Paving's Safety Program can only occur when everyone works and communicates together under a team concept.
Calvac Paving takes great pride in our safety record. Our OSHA Logs prove that Calvac Paving's professional team strives to make safety our number one priority.
