Condition Faded stripes and traffic markings that confuse or mislead your customers or tenants. "Ghost lines" that are showing through the seal coated surface adding to the confusion. Faded or chipping painted curbs.
Additional stencils or traffic markings may become necessary as usage of a property evolves or changes. | Correction If your striping or painted curbs are simply faded then the correction is to restripe over the existing layout. This work can be done weekdays or weekends to accommodate your tenants. If you are experiencing "Ghost lines" and/or you would like to change your layout it is possible to black out the existing lines and paint the proposed layout. This process is typically not preferable to applying seal coat to the entire surface followed by the restriping of the lot as you will be left with a lot full of blacker lines and markings which can negatively impact the aesthetics and cause some confusion in wet conditions. We can also relocate or furnish and install any signage associated with parking to meet the current or proposed layout. |
Cause Age, UV exposure, traffic and water abrasion are the typical factors that cause your striping and painted curbs to fade or wear. The "Ghost" effect is caused by the wearing off of the seal coated surface which exposes any previous striping layouts. | Finished Product
