Victor Cantando

Vice President

Victor Cantando started Calvac Paving in 1974. Any success that Calvac Paving has achieved is possible only because of the tireless efforts that Victor has displayed for his clients. Over those 30 years, he has continuously risen above his competition and has built Calvac Paving into one of the Bay Areas leading authorities in pavement maintenance. Having over 40 years of experience in the field as a licensed contractor, Victor is able to provide you with effective and efficient solutions to any asphalt or concrete problems that you may encounter. His outgoing and friendly professionalism continues to keep his clients coming back year after year, building lasting relationships and better parking lots.

Jim Adam

President

Jim Adam started working for Victor at Calvac Paving in 1979 and spent 8 years as a foreman and superintendent for Vic. Wanting to expand his experience outside of the field he left Calvac Paving in 1987. In the interim Jim gained valuable experience running his own paving and concrete company and helping to grow another paving contractor in the Bay Area while focusing on providing service to Property Managers and Owners throughout the Bay Area. Looking to become partners with Vic, Jim came back to work for Calvac Paving in 2002. After years of focusing on ADA barrier removal projects, Jim applied this experience with extensive studies and passed the exam to become a CASp, Certified Access Specialist.

 

 

Lindsay Lopez

Office Manager

Lindsay graduated from San Jose State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Shortly after graduating, she joined Calvac Paving as the Administrative Assistant before taking over as Office Manager in July of 2017. Among her other capabilities and points of knowledge, Lindsay is the primary point of contact for insurance requirements, preliminary information requests, safety information, and vendor qualifications. With her positive, friendly, and professional attitude, she will make every effort to answer your project planning questions and concerns honestly and accurately.

Greg Bergman

Lead Estimator

Greg started in the industry in 1982 and after 25 years with the same company. Starting out as a laborer with the seal coat division, Greg worked his way up to Vice-President of the company where he was in charge of large commercial and industrial accounts, both as an Estimator and Project Manager. Greg joined the Calvac team in September of 2007 as our Lead Estimator and Project Manager, focusing on commercial and industrial projects. His years of experience will provide you with truly professionally service for any of your project needs, from new commercial construction to school or municipal projects to simple patch and seal coat.

Cindy G. COLE

Controller

Cindy G. Cole joined Calvac Paving in February of 2009 as their Accounting Manager with more than 20 years in the accounting field.

Prior to joining Calvac, Cindy was Vice President for California Bavarian in Palo Alto where she managed and maintained all aspects of accounting and financing including budgets and cash flows for multiple commercial entities.

Cindy started her career in banking and advanced in a very short time to duties including auditing several of the bank’s branch locations. After her many accomplishments in banking, Cindy moved into the commercial real estate profession. With multiple responsibilities and challenges, Cindy was successful in managing the accounting for a large and multifaceted REIT (real estate investment trust) which included shopping centers and many commercial buildings.
