Calvac Paving is proud to announce the appointment of Michael Dugan as our new President and Chief Executive Officer. With over 40 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Michael brings a wealth of leadership, operational insight, and a proven track record of success to our team.
Michael began his career in 1984 working directly in the field, laying the foundation for a deep understanding of the challenges and demands of construction from the ground up. Over the next decade, he steadily advanced into key leadership roles, including Estimator/Project Manager and Sales Manager, before becoming a Director at Lombardo Diamond Core Drilling in Santa Clara, CA.
His career trajectory continued at Jos. J. Albanese, Inc., where he led multiple divisions—Concrete Pumping, Saw Cutting, and Utility Locating & Scanning—demonstrating his ability to streamline operations and build high-performing teams. Michael later brought his leadership skills to Stomper Company in Hayward, CA, before ultimately joining Calvac Paving Asphalt & Concrete.
Michael’s extensive industry knowledge, combined with his ability to solve complex problems and drive operational improvements, positions him perfectly to lead Calvac into its next chapter. Known for his relentless work ethic and dedication to quality, Michael is focused on continuing Calvac’s legacy of excellence while introducing new strategies that strengthen our services and client relationships across the Bay Area.
